Policies and Procedures

Any organisation needs a suite of standard policy statements and, as a consequence of those stated policies, a series of procedures to implement them.

For the purposes of ERCCIS, the following definitions apply:

A 'policy' is a clear public statement of the principles that ERCCIS wishes to abide by. This will provide all ERCCIS stakeholders and partners visibility of ERCCIS’ position on particular issues.

A 'procedure' is a description of how, practically, ERCCIS implements its policies. Procedures are mainly aimed at ERCCIS staff, volunteers and others directly involved with ERCCIS, rather than data providers and users.

The table below provides the definitive list of ERCCIS Policies and Procedures.
