The aim of this workshop is to gain an understanding of key bird species of woodland, wetland and open water:
To be able to identify these main groups of birds in these habitats in winter; focusing in particular on winter visiting wildfowl and thrushes, and also to gain an introductory knowledge of the relative values of these species and management of their habitats.
