Bird Survey Techniques

The aim of this workshop is to consolidate identification skills and have a go at some bird surveys:

We will discuss and try some standard BTO surveys, especially WeBS (Wetland Birds Survey) and we will also discuss the values of and issues around estuary conservation.  The day will start in the hide at Ryan’s Field and then we make our way across the causeway to the Estuary and up to Carnsew Pool.
